clichés and stereotypes abounded, with the French students choosing many of the most obvious prejudices about Americans the could find, such as obesity, ignorance, etc. the challenge this year was the lack of American students at the workshop itself, our UArts participant having run into medical issues and needing to return home just before things got started. so we ended up with just the French side of things. They did a wonderful job with the graphics, creating beautiful illustrations for a cutout piece. a preliminary storyboard was done for "Frenchman in New York City." (see below)
